My little butterfly

Thanks to the girls in Pound Ridge Giovanna was able to watch caterpillars turn into butterflies. At first only three butterflies hatched. We were worried the fourth didn’t make it. But in the end she bloomed into a beautiful painted lady. Today we released the butterflies. We took them over to the butterfly bush and opened the butterfly house. The first butterfly flew out and flew right over to the Sophia tree ( weeping cherry tree). The butterfly stayed at the Sophia tree for a good five mins.
What a beautiful way to show us that Sophia was with us when we released the butterflies. What a beautiful way for her to remind us that we don’t do anything with her there celebrating life with us. What a great way to start the day!!!!
